Authors' Comments:
I wrote this book
to let other people know about our culture like herding sheep and
losing some here and there. I chose this topic so it can relate to
our history and also contain a part of our culture. I wrote about how
a little girl experiences spending time with grandparents. Children
commonly experience this today.
In the beginning,
Ba doesn't like going to her grandparents' home. Eventually she
enjoys all the time they've spent together. In the end, she realizes
that they need her help. Throughout the book, Ba goes through many
difficult experiences that she will overcome.
