Author's Comments:
My name is
Philicia Mitchell. I am Mountain People Towering House Clan, and born
for Tobacco People Red Running Into The Water Clan. My maternal
grandfather's clan is Rock Gap Clan, and my paternal grandfather's
clan is Salt Clan. I'm majoring in Elementary Education.
I really enjoyed
making this book and the best part was I did my own illustrations. I
was inspired to write a book of my childhood living with my
grandparents watching their flocks.
