Pre-professional courses are the general education classes taken prior to entering the CDTE. These courses are usually considered freshman-sophomore courses. A checklist is provided that identifies most of the courses required. If you have taken a course that is not on this list, please contact us so we can see if it is transferrable. The AEPA is a standardized test required by the state of Arizona as a part of an individual getting certified to teach. It has two sections, one section assesses depth and breadth of content knowledge on the various subjects taught in an elementary school The second section of the test assesses an individual's professional knowledge of teaching and learning. Completing financial aid applications is the responsibility of each student. Two application processes are important, 1) Navajo Nation Scholarships and 2) the U.S. Federal government financial aid (FASFA). Contact us if you have questions!
